Tube heat exchangers for high pressure

 

Örnalp Unozon specialises in designing, building and manufacturing tube heat exchangers. These kinds of heat exchangers are able to withstand extremely high temperatures and so they can be used for lots of different applications. The thermal calculations required to design the most expedient tube heat exchanger for every installation are executed by our heating engineers using HTFS software. A number of parameters are required for this:

 

  • Temperature programmes
  • Pressure conditions
  • Flows
  • Media
  • Required size; length and height

 

Örnalp Unozon designs tube heat exchangers in accordance with European standard EN 13445 (PED), the American ASME VIII, the British BS5500 and the German AD-Merkblatt. We work in titanium, aluminium, acid proof steel, carbon steel, hastelloy, SM0254, duplex, super duplex and tantalum.

 

We specialise in manufacturing tube heat exchangers using double materials; with titanium on the tube side and carbon steel on the casing side, for example, binding the two together using what is known as explosion welding.
